- Block Transfer of 256 Bytes for Each Burst
A high-speed, static memory module for VMEbus applications, the Micro Memory MM-6710C / MM-6710F High Speed Static Memory Module accommodates either CMOS static RAM, flash memory, or EPROM devices. The MM-6710 has two independent blocks, each of which accept DIP memory devices of the same type and configuration. Blocks can be any combination of CMOS static, flash memory, or EPROM devices.
The MM-6710 can accept either 256K x 8 or 512K x 8 flash memory chips, which provides up to 8 Mbytes of memory for each block. Capacity for CMOS static memory or EPROM is 8 Mbytes for each block.
The MM-6710 is completely compatible with VMEbus specification Rev C.1 with block transfer (BLT) of 256 bytes for each burst and unaligned data transfer (UAT). Reliability is ensured by burn-in and running memory diagnostics that check operation for 48 hours while temperature cycling boards between 0 and 65°C.
The MM-6710 can accept either 256K x 8 or 512K x 8 flash memory chips, which provides up to 8 Mbytes of memory for each block. Capacity for CMOS static memory or EPROM is 8 Mbytes for each block.
