Provides M.2 form factor storage expansion capability for server and computing platforms through mezzanine card architecture. Supports PCIe and SATA interface protocols for NVMe and AHCI solid-state drives. Enables high-density storage configurations with multiple M.2 slots in a compact vertical expansion format. Interfaces with host systems via PCIe edge connectors or cable connections. Accommodates various M.2 module lengths including 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors. Commonly deployed in data center servers, edge computing appliances, and high-performance computing systems requiring scalable storage expansion without consuming primary PCIe slots.
