This Biacore Model BR-1003-00 Probe is used and in excellent condition. (1) Pipette holder, (1) Optocable a working white light are included. This unit was decommissioned from a working environment, and we were unable to obtain any other accessories to complete the instrument. The BIACORE probe is designed for rapid routine determination of the presence and active concentration of bio-molecules in solutions, at any stage from expression and extraction to final purification. Measurement is based on the ability of the bio-molecule in question (the analyte) to hind to a chosen interactant (the detecting molecule). No label is required. Operation is simple and each measurement takes typically less than 5 minutes, making BIACORE probe well suited to method development and other application areas where the design of the next step in a process is directly dependent on the results of the previous step. Approximately 100 µl of sample is required, and the measurement is non-invasive so that sample can normally be used for further processing.

The GE Healthcare BR-1003-00 Probe may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
