The MM-6120/128 is a 32-bit/33MHz PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) memory buffer capable of burst mode accesses at the full bandwidth of 32-bit/33MHz PCI, which translates to a rate of up to 132 MB/sec.
The MM-6120/128 can be placed directly on any platform with a PMC connection. It is commonly used as a high speed buffer for fiber channels, DSPs, PowerPC, and Pentium SBCs. In many PMC applications, the maximum speeds on the memory read cycles can only be achieved by using Push/Push technology. This is accomplished with our on-board DMA initiator. Various drivers are included so that the card can also be used as a high speed RamDisk.
