The Emerson / Motorola / Force Computers CPSB-560 is a PICMG 2.16-compliant UltraSPARC-IIi+® 650 MHz processor-based CompactPCI server blade for use in CompactPCI Packet-Switching Backplane (cPSB) systems. The CPSB-560 is ideal for switch-fabric applications and for building block solutions such as Force’s Centellis CO 21000-12U series systems. The CPSB-560 provides an ideal solution for 2.5G (GPRS) and 3G (UMTS) wireless, voice over packet (VoP) and other demanding telecom/data com applications and offers a low-power consumption processor on Sun Microsystems’ embedded roadmap—ensuring a clear upgrade path into the future.
