The DT2801 Series Data Acquisition Boards are a family of IBM PC/XT/AT-compatible analog and digital I/O boards that support DMA transfers. An onboard microprocessor simplifies programming, and controls critical timing and error-checking operations.

Functions

Performs multichannel analog-to-digital conversion with programmable gain amplification for general-purpose data acquisition. Features 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels with 12-bit resolution at 13.7 kS/s throughput. Provides software-selectable input ranges from ±1.25V to ±10V with programmable gain options of 1, 2, 4, 8 or 1, 10, 100, 500. Interfaces via ISA bus architecture for PC-based systems. Supports simultaneous sampling across multiple channels with 40 kHz digital throughput capability. Applications include industrial process monitoring, laboratory instrumentation, and automated test systems requiring flexible signal conditioning and moderate-speed data capture.
