Abaco Systems / Radstone PMV68 AIP1-100E Commercial Analog Input Board Overview
Features:
- (32) Single-Ended / (16) Differential Analog Input Channels with 12 Bit Resolution
- Analog Input Section Optically Isolated from VMEbus
- Random Channel Order Selection Using Scan List
- Hardware Configurable Input Gain fro All Channels (x1, x10, x100, User Selectable)
The GE Fanuc / Radstone PMV68 AIP-1 Analog Input Board is a member of the PMV 68 VMEbus family. It is a 6U card, and is electrically and mechanically compatible with the VMEbus specification.
The AIP-1 provides 32 single-ended / 16 differential analog inputs with fully programmable gain amplification (PGA) on all channels. Optical Isolation of the VMEbus from all inputs insulates the bus and the user's valuable system compinents from the effects resultng from the accidental application of large coltages. Ths feature makes the AI{-1 ideally suited to industrial applications where a high degree of bus isolation is required. All analog inputs are accessible via VME connector P2.
Three LEDs on the front panel provide a visual indication of the current board status. The Oversample LED illuminates YELLOW whenever he sample rate exceeds 60kHz. The Halt LED illuminates GREEN to indicate that the conversion process is halted. The SYS-FAIL FAIL LED illuminates RED on initial power up and can be extinguished by an appropriate VME access.
