The Abaco Systems / Radstone PMC1553 Series Two Channel Dual-Redundant MIL-STD-1553B PMC Modules compliment Abaco Systems / Radstone's range of PMC compatible Single Board Computers (SBCs) by offering two, dual redundant MIL-STD-1553B interfaces on a single PMC module. In addition, it provides an eight bit TTL parallel I/O port on a PMC module. The interfaces are compliant with MIL-STD-1553A, MIL-STD-1553B Notice 2 and STANAG 3838. The PMC1553 is compliant with the IEEE P1386.1 PCI Mezzanine Card Standard. Features, such as hardware BC triggers and RT status lines, and the 8-bit TTL parallel I/O port, make the PMC1553 unique in its ability to control 1553 terminals.

The Radstone PMC1553-6BA-430 MIL-STD-1553 PMC Module (Conformal Coated) may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Performs generation, transmission, reception, and decoding of 1553 messages, with timing control, error detection, status reporting, and message sequencing at up to a 1 Mbps data rate.
