The 68000 based computer can address megabytes of memory and perform complex calculations on the spectra stored on the two floppy disks. Most important is the ease with which research in Raman. LC, Radiometry and Emission Spectroscopy can be performed.
The EG&G M1008 CRT Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
