The ATM Microwave NP5 Series Noise Parameter Measurement Systems is a solid state tuner-based solution that provides complete small-signal characterization of RF and microwave semiconductor devices. From high-gain/sub-1dB transistors to low noise amplifiers, the NP5 Series can handle the most challenging characterization assignments.
When combined with a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), a Noise Figure Analyzer (NFA), and Maury's measurement suite (ATSv5), the NP5 Series provides complete Scattering, Noise and DC parameter device characterization and analysis to 26.5 GHz.
The ATN Microwave NP5 Wafer Probe Test Set may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Functions
RF network analyzer probe station designed for on-wafer measurement of semiconductor devices and circuits operating from 300 MHz to 3 GHz. Provides calibrated S-parameter measurements through precision coaxial test ports with wafer probing capabilities. Features integrated probe positioning mechanics for microwave characterization of active and passive components on semiconductor wafers. Interfaces with automated test equipment through standard SCPI commands and supports various calibration standards for accurate vector network analysis. Enables direct contact measurements without device packaging requirements.
