The Rockwell/2705 RediPANEL Keypad Module is an operator module that connects directly to an PLC via the remote I/O link. This module provides the capability for operators to input data to and retrieve data from the PLC. It functions as a single line message display.
The 2705 module has the following functions:
- Replaces multiple thumbwheels
- Acts like a remote I/O rack by accepting operator input of numeric data and sending it to the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and retrieving data from the PLC
- Displays numeric data with related text
- Allows operators to display messages that can prompt operators, display alarm messages, and display machine or process status
- Provides alarm annunciator with acknowledgment capabilities
The 2705-K11C1 Rockwell RediPANEL Keypad Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
