The Spectracom / KSI / DSPCon 9245 Data Moving Engine is a single 6U VME card, which provides high speed data moving and signal processing. With six popular industry standard connections, the 9245 offers a low cost, COTS-intensive, system building core for a variety of real-time applications. On board interfaces include IP (industry pack), full VME, 10/100 Mbit Ethernet, RS-232, MIX, and dual PMC (PCI) sites. Supported PMC modules include A/D, D/A, SCSI, Fibre Channel, FPDP, 1553, C6x co-processor, and many others. The core processor of the 9245 is a 60 MHz Texas Instruments TMS320C40. This 60 MFLOP DSP's six internal DMA controllers simultaneously access all of the board"' interfaces as well as large amounts of zero wait state RAM on the 'C40's buses.
The KSI 9245 Data-Moving Engine may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
