The Drivven D000020 Diesel Injector Driver Module Kit is a CompactRIO-compatible injector driver module designed for development, testing, calibration, and control of common-rail diesel fuel injectors. The module interfaces directly with National Instruments CompactRIO and PXI FPGA-based control systems and provides high-current injector drive capability for both solenoid and Siemens piezo common-rail injectors.
The D000020 incorporates an internal boost power supply capable of generating up to 150 V for rapid injector actuation, while operating from standard automotive battery voltages. The module supports multi-pulse injection strategies, configurable current profiles, injector diagnostics, fault monitoring, and integration with LabVIEW FPGA and Real-Time environments. The platform was developed for engine development, research, fuel system experimentation, calibration work, and advanced diesel combustion studies.
The module is capable of driving up to three common-rail diesel solenoid injectors or two Siemens piezo injectors when configured in piezo mode. Extensive protection and diagnostic functions are included to detect short circuits, open circuits, overload conditions, over-temperature conditions, and high-voltage faults.
The Drivven D000020 Diesel Injector Driver Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
