The Newport ESP301 Series Integrated Axis Motion Controllers / Drivers Enhanced System Performance (ESP) architecture consists of ESP-compatible controllers and stages. The ESP301, an ESP-compatible controller, is an advanced stand-alone controller with integrated motor drivers. It can control and drive up to 3 axes of motion in any stepper and DC motor configuration.

The ESP plug-and-play concept significantly increases user friendliness and improves overall motion performance.

The ESP301 is used as a stand-alone controller to drive an ESP motion device. All components are designed for optimal performance.

The Newport E4340A2 Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Enables multi-channel operation with programmable gain, autozero, and linearity correction. Delivers high dynamic range and fast response for laser power and pulse energy monitoring, with synchronous triggering and remote digital control. Includes data logging, calibrations traceable to SI units, and compatibility with standard instrument buses for integration in automated test environments.
