The Tektronix / Sony AWG610 2.6 GS/s, Single-channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator is a waveform generator that can generate simple and arbitrary waveforms and generates one-channel differential output arbitrary waveforms and function generator waveforms.

The AWG610 Arbitrary Waveform Generator allows the user to create sine, triangle, square, ramp, and complex waves, as well as direct current and noises signals. It allows the user to set waveform attributes such as frequency, amplitude, and offset.

You can remotely control the instrument by sending commands through both the GPIB and 10BASE-T interfaces, as well as transfer waveform data directly from a digital storage oscilloscope to the waveform generator instrument using the GPIB and 10BASE-T interfaces. This enables the user to use the instrument in combination with other measurement equipment and a computer.

Interfaces through ISA or PCI bus architectures with driver support for common operating systems. Applications include automated test systems, instrument control, and data acquisition in laboratory and production environments.
