  • Allows 152 Bytes of Buffering (Data and Address) for Upstream Posted Memory Write Commands
The Alta Technology CPCI/PMC64 Series Dual PMC Carrier Board is a carrier board for PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC). Available in a 6U CompactPCI form factor, it provides two 64-bit PMC slots (which are also 32-bit compatible) for easy CompactPCI system expansion.

The CPCI/PMC-64 takes advantage of Compaq's 21154 PCI to PCI bridge chip to allow for the expansion of the CompactPCI bus. The CPCI/PMC-64 includes programmable interrupts and a linear, fixed memory map. Alta provides a complete line of PMC modules that work in conjunction with the CPCI/PMC-64. These PMCs provide interfaces to help expand system functionality. Such modules include SVGA and 3D graphics, 10/100 Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, SCSI and FDDI. The CPCI/PMC-64 also allows for off-the-shelf applications from other manufacturers to be added to Alta's CompactPCI products.

The Alta Technology CPCI/PMC64-XP Dual PMC Carrier Board may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
