OMS Motion VME44-4E Intelligent Multi-Axis Motion Controller Overview

The Pro-Dex / Oregon Micro Systems VME44 Series Intelligent Multi-Axis Motion Controller is part of Oregon Micro Systems' line of VME bus compatible controllers. The VME44 meets the VME bus C.1 specifications for D08(O) slaves and can be plugged directly into the back-plane of these machines. The VME44 occupies a user selectable block of 16 memory addresses. All connections are brought out to the VME bus P2 connector for convenience in system implementation. Each VME intelligent motion controller features a uniform pulse train for minimum torque ripple, linear interpolation and constant velocity contouring on all axes.

The OMS Motion VME44-4E Intelligent Multi-Axis Motion Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
