Edwards PV40PKA Pneumatic Valve Overview

The Edwards PVPK Series Pneumatic Valves are pneumatically-operated vacuum valves which are compact and lightweight. They are designed for long and trouble-free operation. The PVPK Series valve enclosure provides protection to IP55 (as defined by IEC 529).

Right-angled and in-line versions of the valve are manufactured and a range of valve body and flange sizes are also manufactured.

The valves have both visual and electrical indications of valve position. The visual indicator is a pin attached to the top of the valve mechanism. When the valve opens, the pin is visible in the transparent position indicator cover. The electrical indicator is a microswitch fitted in the top-cap assembly. The microswitch is operated when the valve is fully open. The single-pole changeover contacts are available at the connector.

The Edwards PV40PKA Pneumatic Valve may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
