The Emerson Motion Control PCM-5 Positioning Servo Drive Ratio Controller allows for memory and I/O expansion, program storage and synchronization of an
axis or multiple axis to an external lead axis. The installation of the PCM-5 module is made easy
by a direct "plug-in" design. All the electrical connections between the basic digital drive and
the module are made via the 48 position connectors. This is the only electrical connection required
between the two units. Once plugged in, the top and bottom handles snap into position to secure
the module to the drive. The input and output connections are split between two terminal strips; each strip consists of 8 input lines and 4
output lines.
The Emerson Motion Control PCM-5 Positioning Servo Drive Ratio Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
