This Engineering Laboratory Design 12" Low Speed, Variable Freestream Temperature, Recirculating Wind Tunnel - Model 403 (LS) is used and in excellent condition.
Fan Model: 14-355-CBD-1241-1/2 (1/2HP, 3PH, 230-460V, 60Hz)
Variable Air Flow Speed: Continuously Variable from less than 50 fpm (0.25 m/s) to greater than 1200 fpm (5.0 m/s)
Acrylic Plexiglass Test Section w/3 Access Ports
Integrated 8kW Resistance Heater Bank (up to 158°F / 70°C)
External Chiller Heat-Exchanger Hook-up for Cooling (Requires Neslab M-150D or equivalent - see datasheet for performance requirements)

The Engineering Laboratory Design 12" Low Speed, Variable Frestream Temperature, Recirculating Wind Tunnel has evolved to provide a qualification testing facility for the electronics industry. The wind tunnel system, including the freestream operating temperature process controls, provides the necessary environment for thermal characterization of electronic components.
System components include: flow ducts, test section, fan, motor with variable frequency speed controller, chilled water heat exchanger (for hooking-up to a water chiller, if desired), a resistance heater bank, and supporting frames. The system flow configuration recirculates a closed volume of air in a vertical loop.
