Pilz PSS1 DI 2 Digital Input Module Overview

The Pilz PSS DI2 / PSS1 DI2 Series Digital Input Modules have 32 digital inputs. The inputs can be used to monitor emergency stop circuits, for example. They are generally suitable for connecting single-channel safety-related input devices (with or without test pulses) and multi-channel safety-related input devices (with and without test pulses. The test pulses may come from a PSS (1) DI2O T module, for example.

The input module PSS(1) DI2 is designed for use in safety-related application. It is used in the failsafe section of the PSS.

The PSS DI2 module is designed for use on a module rack from the PSS 3000 series. The PSS1 DI2 module is designed for use on a module rack from the PDD 3100 series.

The Pilz PSS1 DI 2 Digital Input Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
