This unit has a large scratch but this does not affect functionality.

This unit has up to three axes of motion that can be controlled simultaneously or independently. A selectable high/low speed switch assures uniform speed control over the entire speed range. Motor direction and velocity are proportional to the direction and position of the joystick.

The Exfo / Burleigh Inchworm Controllers offers high resolution capabilities of Inchworm motors in a variety of applications. These Controllers use sophisticated PZT drive electronics that provide the voltage, current and timing required for rapid actuation of the drive elements. They are designed for high-speed operation while maintaining the highest possible resolution. They are programmable and can operate from one to three axes (or more) independently or simultaneously in open or closed-loop mode. You can control the Inchworm Motors manually or remotely with TTL signals or RS-232 protocols.

The Burleigh 6003 Joystick for Inchworm Controllers may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
