Danotherm ZRF 55/300 031 Wirewound Power Resistor Overview

The Danotherm ZRF Series Wirewound Power Resistors feature fixed or adjustable, round or oval types, types with solder-screw or snap-on terminals. The resistors are equipped with corrugated wire for extra high demands on surge or pulse load.

Steatite C221 is the optimal choice for ceramic base material for temperatures below 350-400ºC. It has high mechanical strength and excellent DC stability. If higher temperatures can be expected porcelain C110 can be used. For the large resistor types, corderite C520 is used due to its very high stability to temperature changes.

The Danotherm ZRF 55/300 031 Wirewound Power Resistor may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
