Description
This CVI Melles Griot 11NCS101 Nanomotion II Expansion Chassis is used and in excellent condition. This stock item is for the expansion controller only.

The expansion chassis is daisy-chained to the standard controller (11 NCS 101/IEEE) to operate additional units. In this configuration, the top bay is empty, and the bottom bay contains the 11 NIB 001 expansion card. The expansion controller does not include the PC-Link card or software.

The CVI Melles Griot Nanomotion II Nanometric Positioning System combines optimally high resolution, superior repeatability, and precise accuracy all in one computer controlled motorized positioning system. The Nanomotion II provides higher speeds, better reliability, and finer resolution, making it one of the most formidable choices in nanometric positioning.

With the Nanomotion II, the operator can execute sophisticated moves with extreme precision, via the user friendly Microsoft Windows interface. As an alternative, Melles Griot has enabled the creation of a custom application to control the instrument using a high-level computer language. The Nanomotion II is comprised of three components that function together, forming the Nanometric Positioning system. The components used are the application software, controller chassis, and motorized positioner(s) which, along with the user-supplied host computer, form a fully functional Nanometric Positioning System.

The CVI Melles Griot 11 NCS 101 Nanomotion II Expansion Chassis may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
