The CVI Melles Griot Nanomotion II Nanometric Positioning System combines optimally high resolution, superior repeatability, and precise accuracy all in one computer controlled motorized positioning system. The Nanomotion II provides higher speeds, better reliability, and finer resolution, making it one of the most formidable choices in nanometric positioning.
With the Nanomotion II, the operator can execute sophisticated moves with extreme precision, via the user friendly Microsoft Windows interface. As an alternative, Melles Griot has enabled the creation of a custom application to control the instrument using a high-level computer language. The Nanomotion II is comprised of three components that function together, forming the Nanometric Positioning system. The components used are the application software, controller chassis, and motorized positioner(s) which, along with the user-supplied host computer, form a fully functional Nanometric Positioning System.
