Description
This Michrom Magic 2002 HPLC instrument is used, and in excellent condition. It includes the Michrom 718/P Autoinjector. The system ships as shown with instrument, autoinjector, interconnection cables, computer, software (EZ Chrom Elite, Magic V1.1), dongle, keyboard, and mouse (just add your own pc-standard monitor). Our technicians have checked the functionality of this instrument including the autoinjector armature movement and syringe operation, computer-controlled operation of the instrument including the lamps, detector, gradient pumps, and injection valve. The UV D2 lamp has only about 25% of use shown on its indicator strip. Small consumable accessories are not included such as columns. Michrom offers reasonable service contracts for the Magic 2002 (Full- & Self-Service plans). Their website currently lists pricing for consumables, accessories, and replacement costs for 'wear' components for this instrument.

Software sold by Artisan does not include a warranty and therefore cannot be returned. It will be the user's responsibility to comply with any non-transferable software licensing issues and delete any software that is deemed non-transferable.

The MAGIC 2002 is the first fully integrated HPLC system designed with the versatility and flexibility to perform a broad range of isocratic and gradient HPLC and LC/MS applications. Only a simple interchange of Flow Range Kits is required for users to run methods for nanoscale (0.05-2.5 ul/min), capillary (0.1-25 ul/min), microbore (20-1000 ul/min), analytical (100-5000 ul/min), or ballistic (50-5000 ul/min). The Ballistic Chromatography Kit is specifically designed for high throughput applications with our new, patented tapered bore column, the Michrom Magic Bullet, providing isocratic or gradient separations in as little as 1 minute (inject to inject). The MAGIC 2002’s optimized flow dynamics are essential to high speed and high sensitivity HPLC separations. The system will accept a wide range of column sizes from 50 um to 10 mm ID and from 10 mm to 250 mm in length. The built-in dual wavelength UV/Vis detector has flow cells to cover the entire gradient flow range. The MAGIC 2002 design allows for the connection of peripheral devices and accessory items that automate sampling, fraction collection and on-line sample preparation.

The Michrom Magic 2002 HPLC Instrument may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
