The OMEGA PX94 Series Corrosion Resistant Pressure Transducers are media compatible, solid-state piezoresistive pressure sensors with a 1-6VDC output span. The 0-5 psi to 0-100 psi models are for use with corrosive or conductive fluid or gaseous media where high level voltage output must be integral to the package. The 0-300 psi to 0-5000 psi models are for use in harsh environments and high pressure applications where a high level voltage output is required.
The 0-5 psi to 0-100 psi models have a silicon diaphragm; the 0-300 psi to 0-5000 psi models have stainless steel diaphragms. The 0-300 psi to 0-5000 psi models utilize an oil column to couple a diffused, piezoresistive sensor to a convoluted, flush 316 stainless steel diaphragm that can be interfaced with most harsh media.
The sensor assembly and associated solid-state electronics are enclosed in a cylindrical casing with a ¼-18 NPT stainless steel pressure fitting.
Full calibration and temperature compensation is provided over 0° to 50°C, along with unit-to-unit interchangeability. A three-wire connector is included with color-coded, 18 gage wire.
The PX94-015G5V OMEGA Pressure Transducer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
