The EPX600 can be switched between SONET and SDH protocols with the EPX SONET/SDH Switcher software. The optional EPX650 module mounts directly on the EPX600 for full payload generation. Complete SONET/SDH insertion is available with the EPX650.

EPX600 Transmitter
The EPX600 Transmitter supports signal regeneration and retransmission. Transmit at OC-12, OC-3, STM-4, or STM-1 signal rates with basic SONET/SDH alarm and error insertion. You can easily switch between SONET and SDH protocols without powering down the test system.
