The MLS-8000 is a 19 inch power source rack for multi-channel light source. Up to eight ECL-200's can be installed in MLS-8000. It enables you to configure your optical multi-channel light source by combining various light source units.
The Santec ECL-200 is supplied power by the MLS-8000 (max 8ch loading). It can obtain >100 nm range by turning optical band path filter (OBPF) and < 0.01 nm resolution by adjusting frequency lock filter's (ELF) environmental temperature.
The ECL-200 requires OSA and so on to manually control wavelength and power but it is a low cost tunable laser for engineers working in optical communication industry.
