The Gespac PCISYS-PII/III 3U CompactPCI Single Board Computers are based on the Pentium II/III Mobile Module. Ideally suited for systems requiring high performance and small, robust form factor, the PCISYS-PII/III is a perfect fit for embedded machine control, transportation, medical equipment, data communication and multimedia applications.
The Intel MMC-2 Mobile Module integrates the Pentium II/III core at up to 600+ MHz, along with the 440BX NorthBridge chipset and up to 512kB of L2 cache memory. This modular design allows the board to be easily configured with either the Pentium II or Pentium III processor.
In addition to all of the standard PC functions, the PCISYSPII/III board offers many extended features including Fast Ethernet, high performance AGP Graphics, Wide Ultra SCSI and Flash Disk capability. Two DIMM sockets permit the installation of up to 512 MB of SDRAM. A Flash Disk is available via the DiskOnChip 2000 socket that supports up to 288 MB of high reliability data storage. The C&TB69030 controller provides high performance SVGA graphics using the Advance Graphics Port architecture. Equipped with 4 MB of fast VRAM, resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 x 16 bpp colours can be achieved.
The PCISYS-PIII Gespac 3U CompactPCI Single Board Computer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
