The Transmation 1292 / 1294 Automated Pressure Calibrator is a field-portable, battery-powered precision test instruments that integrate the ability to measure and generate DC process signals as well as pressure. In addition to having all the functions necessary to test and maintain pressure transmitters, Models 1292 and 1294 automate the generation and control of pressure for improved resolution, accuracy, and convenience.
Models 1292 and 1294 each consist of a case and a detachable keypad. The keypad contains the display and function switches. The I/O terminals and pressure ports are located on the front panel of the case.
Both calibrators can simulate and/or measure current, voltage, and millivolt signals, or generate and measure pressure values. Input and output signal values are displayed on a 40 character, 8 line liquid crystal display located on the calibrator's keypad.
Each electrical signal type has a separate set of terminals for input and output connections, permitting simultaneous input and output operation.
