The Anritsu MP1580A is the ideal measuring instrument for evaluating jitter and wander in R and D, manufacturing and maintenance of increasingly widespread 10G SDH/SONET equipment and modules. Its compact lightweight design and support for both 2.5 and 10G jitter measurement make it the instrument of choice for outside work such as maintenance. It can be used as a stand-alone instrument or in combination with the MP1570A for automatic measurement of Jitter Tolerance and Jitter Transfer characteristics etc. The Anritsu MP1580A supports the ITU-T and Bellcore, etc., standards, so it will continue to meet user’s needs well into the future. The MP1580A conforms to both the OC-192 and STM-64 jitter measurement standards and supports required jitter modulation amplitude of 4000 UIp-p and 80 MHz jitter bandwidth.

The Anritsu MP1580A Portable 2.5G/10G Jitter Analyzer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
