The Interphase 4520 PMC SCSI-2 Adapter provides high performance "Fast and Wide" SCSI-2 connectivity for systems equipped with embedded PMC slots. The Interphase 4520 adapter is designed to meet the needs of open systems for applications ranging from high throughput departmental file servers to high bandwidth image processing. PMC is an I/O module standard which can be effectively used by a broad cross section of manufacturers in building system level products. Because it capitalizes on the speed and interoperability of PCI, provides a high reliability connector system, and enjoys direct silicon support, the PMC mezzanine architecture provides a building block approach to cost effectively implement the next generation of high performance technologies on embedded systems.
The Interphase 4520 SCSI-2 PMC Adapter may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
