  • Short Circuit Protection - Phase-to-Phase and Phase-to-Ground
The Parker/Compumotor Gemini GT is the digital stepper drive member of the Gemini Family. It is an alternative to a digital servo drive and is easily configurable and programmable. This drive provides servo like performance with the lower motor price of a stepper system due to breakthrough techniques such as Encoderless Stall DetectTM and ABS dampingTM.

The Gemini GT includes the following features:
• Two power ranges for up to 8 Amps of continuous current
• Step and direction, CW/CCW, ±10 VDC analog, and encoder tracking modes available
• Variable resolution up to 128,000 steps/rev Protection
• Short circuit protection – phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground
• Brownout protection – if AC drops below 85 VAC
• Over temperature – shutdown occurs at ambient 131°F
• 120V input power
• Diagnostic LEDs for drive status, firmware download, and optional keep alive mode

The Parker Gemini GT6-L5 / GT6-L5-NK Microstepping Drive may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
