The GE Fanuc / BSI 4400-IP Fixed Rate PCM Bit Synchronizer is designed on a single-wide Industry Pack (IP) module. Setup parameters for the Model 4400-IP are factory selected including input bit rate, PCM Code, and loop bandwidth. The Model 4400-IP is ready to make use of without application setup and control; plug it in to an IP carrier and begin using. With up to (four) 4400-IPs installed on a single IP carrier module the 4400-IP provides an excellent, cheap solution for multiple stream requirements. Read back (status) is provided by the IP carrier module and includes signal present and bit synchronizer lock status. Based on a hybrid design of Berg's field-proven bit synchronizer expertise & compact surface mount expertise, the Model 4400-IP supports information rates to 8 Mbps. The Model 4400-IP provides standard outputs including NRZ-L Information, 0° clock, 90° clock, bipolar tape driver and loop stress (status).

The GE Fanuc 4400-IP IndustryPack Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
