The Inficon IM 220 Ionivac Ionization Vacuum Gauge is a universal, automatic, microprocessor-controlled ionization gauge which can be employed for measuring pressures of between 9.99•10^-3 and 1•10^-10 mbar.
The IM 220 has a standardized IEC 625/IEEE488 processor interface. The Ionivac IM 220 can be connected with an appropriate processor to the processor interface.
Standard levels for TTL and CMOS logic are available at the event outputs: "High" potential approximately 5V, "low" potential 0V. This makes the Ionivac IM 220 particularly well suited for process control environments in research and industry.
With the IM 220, the IE220 nude gague heads can be operated mounted on a CF flange, and the IE21 nude gauge head on a KF flange, Compensation is provided for the different tube sensitivities by setting a corresponding calibration factor.
The 1/4 19" housing of the IM 220 is particularly well suited for table top applications. Moreover, the design fo the housing and the light weight of the compact unit also allow it to be installed in switch-boards without difficulty.
The IM 220 Inficon Ionivac Ionization Vacuum Gauge may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
