Newport / Oriel 71582 Silicon Detector Head Overview

The Newport / Oriel 70310 Multifunction Optical Power Meter (OPM) is a universal detector readout. It works with almost any cooled, or room temperature detector for measurement of continuous or modulated radiation. RS-232 and IEEE-488.2 interfaces are included for transferring data to your PC and to allow control of the instrument from the PC. You can also use the OPM as a stand alone readout for bench-top power measurements or use its analog output to record readings with any data logger. A family of UV, VIS, and IR calibrated detectors is offered. A sophisticated, but intuitive, Windows based data acquisition package is available for spectro-radiometric measurements with Oriel's family of monochromators, or for simple data logging.
The Oriel 71582 Silicon Detector Head may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
