  • One 64bit 33/66/MHz PMC Site
The GMS "Condor" is the industry's first 6U VME Single Board Computer (SBC) to provide a field upgradeable CPU module to fully take advantage of new processors and chipsets from Intel. This processor upgradeable technology provides the OEM a processor migration path in order to avoid obsolescence in defense/long life cycle requirements applications. The Condor provides users with several processor options. For ultra low power consumption, 10W Max (6W average), the Low Voltage (LV) Pentium® M 738 CPU at 1.4GHz with 2MB of on-die L2 cache is used, or for more demanding processor power the 1.6 GHz with 1MB of Cache processor is used, which requires 24 Watts Max (14W average). For the most demanding applications, the new Intel M-745 processor is supported. The M-745 provides the user with a 1.8GHz processor and 2MB of L2 Cache with an incredible 12W Max (7W average) power consumption, which makes the Condor the FASTEST processor per watt compared to any other Intel or PowerPC VME SBC.
