The Chrislin Industries CI-VFLASH High-Speed Flash Memory Module has interfaces to the VME and VME64 Buses. The CI-VFLASH is the perfect solution for high-density in-system reprogrammable memory. The module has a maximum access time of 150 nanoseconds for single cycles and operates at 40 / 80 megabyte / sec bandwidth during block cycles. The CI-VFLASH can be erased and programed using standard 28F008SA software algorithms.

The unique feature of the CI-VFLASH is that it can be erased and written to using no additional software. A double write sequence to the CSR or front panel reset allows the unit to self erase, and a status bit in the CSR allows normal system writes to reprogram memory. The CI-VFLASH makes field use as convenient as standard RAM without the volatility.

The Chrislin Industries CI-VFLASH HIgh-Speed Flash Memory may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
