ACTIS Computer ADA-08 IndustryPack Module Overview
Features:
- Octal 12-bit DAC
- Octal 12-bit + Sign ADC
- 14-bit Digital to Analog Converter
- Two General Purpose 8-bit Ports
- One Special Purpose 4-bit Port
- Three 16-bit Counter / Timers
- Compatible with the VITA-4 Specification
The counter/timer and parallel I/O unit provides two general-purpose 8-bit ports, one special-purpose 4-bit ports, and three 16-bit counter/timers. The digital to analog converter provides eight single-ended buffered analog outputs (in bipolar and unipolar modes), which will accept an analog load on the DAC outputs. The analog to digital converter provides eight single-ended or four differential analog inputs for unipolar and bipolar signals. An on-chip 8-word RAM can store the conversion sequence for up to eight acquisitions through the on-chip eight-input multiplexer.
The ADA-08 is also compatible with VITA-4 specifications.
The ACTIS Computer ADA-08 IndustryPack Module may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
