Galil Motion Control DMC-620 Advanced Motion Controller Overview

DMC-600 Series

The DMC-600 series is a fully programmable servo motion controller contained on an IBM PC compatible card. It controls the motion of up to three DC or brushless motors with incremental encoder feedback. The DMC-610 controls one motor, the DMC-620 controls two motors, and the DMC-630 controls three servo motors.

DMC-611, DMC-621 and DMC-631

The DMC-611, DMC-621, and DMC-631 are enhanced versions of the DMC-600 Series. The enhancement consists of both firmware and hardware modifications. Encoder Frequencies up to 2,000,000 counts/sec can be input and the DAC resolution is increased from 8-Bits to 12-Bits. In addition several new commands have been added.

The Galil Motion Control DMC-620 Advanced Motion Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
