Dynamic Engineering IP-Debug-IO Specialized Extender Card Overview
Features:

Dynamic Engineering uses IP-Debug-Bus and IP-Debug-IO together for design/integration and production test.
Allow the host computer to connect the driver to the installed IP module. After that you can power the IP Module down [with IP-Debug-Bus] to add test points, swap units etc. and power on to immediately use the same software "connection" to the IndustryPack device. Since the address is static no reload issues like you have with PCI, PCIe etc. IP-Debug-IO provides the loop-back connections or the IP can be connected to the system through the ribbon cable connector and probed at the same time.
Do you need to connect your system to an IndustryPack while debugging your design? You can connect the IP IO connector to the rest of your system and have access to the component side of the IndustryPack module. IP-DEBUG-IO is designed to allow test circuits to be added to simulate part of the system that may not be available. For example: terminations or loopback connections. Test points and ribbon cable connectors are also provided.
Test points are provided on each of the 50 IO lines. The test points are tall enough to allow wire wrap connections, and scope or analyzer probes to be used. standard .025 in. sq posts.
High quality ejecting ribbon cable connectors [2] are supplied to make isolation and connection to the system a snap. The IP-Debug-IO card can be installed as a bridge between cable segments to provide test points.
PC style power connector and matching header for easy connection to a power supply.
The Dynamic Engineering IP-Debug-IO Specialized Extender Card may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
